In the Shadow of Table Mountain lays the Royal Cape Golf Club, established in 1885. We are the current hosts of the Cape Town Open and 10 previous South African Opens.

De Zalze Golf Club
Nestled in the heart of a beautiful valley on the outskirts of Stellenbosch, lies De Zalze Golf Club. Peter Matkovich designed the course, making the most of the sweeping views of the mountains and the quaint Blaauwklippen River that winds through the course. Set within the De Zalze Winelands Estate, we offer a championship golf course and an amazing Club House.
The Huguenot Memorial Monument in Franschhoek was inaugurated on April 17th, 1948. With its simplicity and elegance of line the monument displays a historic French character.The female figure, with the Bible in her right hand and broken chain in her left hand, personifies the spirit of religious freedom. The three lofty arches is a symbol of the Holy Trinity.

Stony Point Penguin Colony
The Stony Point colony is one of only three land-based colonies in South Africa and is home to over 150 nesting families of African penguins. The colony first began in 1982 when a breeding pair of penguins; presumably from Dryer Island, landed in the area and decided to stay. Visitors to the colony can view the penguins from a number of boardwalks.

Pinnacle Point Golf Club
Pinnacle Point golf course is designed by the multi award-winning architect Peter Matkovich. It was constructed during 2005 and 2006 on one of the most dramatic coastal sights in the world. The Cango Caves have been at the forefront of tourism in South Africa since the end of the 18th century: the first to be protected by environmental legislation and remain South Africa’s oldest tourist attraction. The Knysna Elephant Park was the first facility in South Africa to house and care for orphaned African elephants. Over the last twenty years, the park has cared for and raised more than forty elephants.
These animals include relocated animals, orphaned calves, elephants rescued from culls and ex-circus animals.
